| The purpose of this study was to develop a program to manage the information of diabetic patients in Diabetes Mellitus Clinic and primary care unit (PCU) network of Sappasitthiprasong hospital, Ubonratchathani, accordingly to the Diabetic treatment guideline for increasing patient care management efficacy. This program was able to evaluate, assess disease condition, and organizes information systematically, resulting in reducing time and multiple steps of workflow. Moreover this program would allow ability to link hospital database to the existing information for statistical analysis. In addition, the administrator and user instruction manuals were developed.
The first procedure was to study Diabetic treatment guideline which providing interview questionnaire structure. The questionnaire structure was based upon the DM clinic personnel requirements. The satisfaction assessment was carried out in 3 parts. The overall user satisfaction was reported in very satisfied (56.86%). As well as, the satisfaction of administrator and user instruction manuals was reported in very satisfied (67.64%). The applicability of program was also reported in very satisfied (54.17%). Thus, it could be concluded that this program was applicable to utilize in DM clinics in order to increase patient care management efficacy. |
