E-sarn folk medicine is the local wisdom consists of knowledge in medicinal plants and practices. Its uniqueness and distinctive character are due to biodiversity and endemic plants. E-sarn medicine recipes were recorded in E-sarn dialect, which were difficult to comprehend. This study aimed to translate, gather and analyze E-sarn folk medicine recipes together with organizing of the botanical details into an easily accessible format. List of medicinal plants was stored in an Excel format including E-sarn name, other names, common names, scientific names, family names and their therapeutic use. Herbariums were collected as references The Khai-mak-mai (fever) and Lued (blood disorders) recipes recorded by Dr.Preecha Phinthong were selected to investigate. Of all 1,011 recipes, there were 626 and 385 of Khai-mak-mai and Lued recipies, respectively. Of all 1,040 ingredients used in Khai-mak-mai recipes, there were 794 medicinal plants of 126 families and the most five frequently used herbs were Ya-nag (Tiliacora triandra (Colebr.) Diels, Menispermaceae) , sugar cane (Saccharum sinense Roxb.,Graminae) , Phak-whan-bhan (Sauropus androgynus (L.) Merr, Euphorbiaceae), Ma-noi ( Cissampelos pareira L. var. hirsute (Buch. ex DC.) Forman, Menispermaceae), Rice (Oryza sativa L., Poacea). Of all 505 ingredients used in Lued recipes, there were 453 medicinal plants of 105 families and the most five frequently used herbs were ginger (Zingiber officinale Roscoe, Zingiberaceae ), garlic (Allium sativum L., Amaryllidaceae), pepper (Piper nigrum L.,Piperaceae), chili (Capsicum annuum L.,Solanaceae), Peep-pee-dang (Plumbago indiga L., Plumbaginaceae) and collected 40 herbariums. This study provides data for further development of E-sarn herbal medicine
