Mycoamaranthus cambodgensis (Pat.) Trap., Russula foetens (Pers.) Fr., Russula spp., wild mushrooms have been reported with high beta-glucans. Beta-glucans are substances, which have various biological activities; one of them is antimicrobial activity. Objectives= To investigate the antimicrobial activity of water and ethanol extracts of Mycoamaranthus cambodgensis (Pat.) Trap., Russula foetens (Pers.) Fr., Russula spp. Method= Mycoamaranthus cambodgensis (Pat.) Trap., Russula foetens (Pers.) Fr., Russula spp. were extracted with water and ethanol. Their antimicrobial activities were studied against 4 organisms; Staphylococcus aureus ATCC25923, Escherichia coli ATCC25922, Pseudomonas aeruginosa ATCC27853, and Candida albican ATCC10231 by Agar disc diffusion method consisting of 2.5 mg extracts per disc and Agar well diffusion method, 50 mg/ml extracts concentration. Results= Water and ethanol extracts of three wild mushrooms had no antimicrobial activity in Agar disc diffusion method, while R.foetens (Pers.) water extract and M.cambodgensis (Pat.) ethanol extract showed an activity against C.albican with average diameter of antifungal 11.24±1.4 and 10.9±2.0 mm, respectively. In agar well diffusion method, results showed that water and ethanol extracts of those had no antimicrobial activity, but M.cambodgensis (Pat.) ethanol extract, R.foetens (Pers.) water extract, Russula spp. ethanol and water extracts showed an activity against C.albican with average diameter of anti-fungal 14.7±1.0, 12.57±0.7, 12.47±0.9 and 18.17±3.0 mm, respectively. Conclusion= The M.cambodgensis (Pat.) ethanol extract, R.foetens (Pers.) water extract, and Russula spp. ethanol and water extracts had inhibition ability to fungus and Russula spp. water extract had the most antifungal activity.
