The Ministry of Public Health of Thailand revealed the policy to promote using Thai herbal remedies as alternative medicine or replace modern medicine especially from Thai National List of Herbal Medicines Product. These herbal recipes have been traditionally used for treatment of various common diseases for several generations by the Thai traditional doctor. However, the scientific reports of efficacy and safety of these remedies have not yet widely publicized to people. Objective: Thusthe aim of this studywere to review and analyze the literature from electronic database, to publicized the information of herbal remedies and component herbson the database website. Materials and Methods: The herbal remedies were selected from Thai National List of Herbal Medicines Product A.D.2016. The information of herbal remedies and each component herb including scientific name, synonym, family name, description of crude drug, chemical composition, pharmacological activity, clinical study and toxicology were collected by literature searching from electronic database as well as hand search for unpublished studies. The voucher specimens and crude drugs were prepared and deposited at the Herbal Museum of Faculty of Pharmacy, UbonRatchathani University, in UbonRatchathani, Thailand.Result:Three herbal remedies were selected fromThai National List of Essential Herbal Medicines Product.The medicinal plant recipes were comprised of several plants as follows: Ya-That-bun-job, Ya-Pra-sa-mawaeng and Ya-kheaw-homcontaining 20, 6 and 17 medicinal plants, respectively. In total, this study reported three herbal recipes containing 43 species that belonged to 30 families. List of remedy and other information appeared on website(www.thaicrudedrug.com). Conclusion:The results from this study have confirmed the usage of the preparation which supported the folkloric used of the herbal remedy. It also benefits to people and healthcare team for rapid and accurate searching via website. So, All remedies should be used as alternative medicine, and manufactured commonly in the market.
