| The ancient E-sarn folk medicine passes on one through one generation and is recorded in E-sarn dialect, which is difficult to understand. This poses an obstacle in application of traditional knowledge. Objectives: This study aimed to gather and analyze E-sarn folk medicine recipe, recorded by Dr. PreechaPhinthong, into an easily accessible form. Methods: The herbal compositions of ancient E-sarn folk medicine recipes used intreatment of 20 disorders were studied and analyzed. List of medicinal plants was presented in an Excel format with E-sarn name, Thai names, English names, scientific names, family names and their therapeutic uses. Results: From the 1,315 minor recipes, there were used 951 medicinal plants. The most frequent used medical plants in Animal biteswere Strychnosnux-blanda A. W.
