| Over the past many years, many universities has been teaching in the Faculty of Pharmacy. This allows each university to develop their own to ensure quality in teaching. Objectives: To study the elements having effects on the decision to study in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Ubon Ratchathani University. Methods: The study was a quality and quantitative research. The population in this study was 120 of 2015 first-year students in the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Ubon Ratchathani University. 120 students are questioned by the questionnaire and analyze the information by instant statistic program including descriptive statistic and statistic method which are statistic value, percentage, mean and standard deviation. And the samples of 30 students are interviews used the Appreciative Inquiry concept.Results: From the study from 106 students, it can be said that most of the populations who do the questionnaire are women (63 students, 59.4%),live in the northeast (85 students, 80.2%). Individual factors which are influential in students’ decision to continue to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Ubon Ratchathani University are Qualities of professors which is the most satisfied (Mean=4.320) and then the quality of teaching learning processwhich is the most satisfied (Mean=4.217),Easier to find a job, Professional exam pass rates and Department of Government are the second satisfied. (Mean=4.189). From interviews with 30 students, the most common factor that are found in the interviews is good impressions on the professors (21 students) and then impression on the senior (18 students), respectively. Conclusion: From the questionnaires, individual factors which are influential in students’ decision to continue to the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Science, Ubon Ratchathani University are Qualities of professors which is the most satisfied. The most common factor that are found in the interviews is good impressions on the professors. |
