| The objective of this study was to determine biological activities from the methanol extract of Parinari anamense Hance. Leaves i.e. DPPH radical scavenging, ABTS radical scavenging and tyrosinase inhibitory activity.
From the crude extract at the concentration 100 µg/ml showed DPPH radical scavenging activity at 96.48 + 0.66 %, ABTS radical scavenging activity at 95.12 + 0.19 % and tyrosinase inhibitory activity at 11.12 + 7.31 %. Then the crude extract was fractionated to obtain 11 fractions by using column chromatography. At the concentration 100 µg/ml fraction 10 showed the highest DPPH radical scavenging activity at 95.12 + 1.10 %, fraction 11 showed the highest ABTS radical scavenging activity at 98.46 + 2.35 % and tyrosinase inhibitory activity at 84.55 + 5.08 %.
